Nos Da Ty — Welsh for ‘Goodnight House’ — was born from a dream of a Welshman and a Sri Lankan to create a place where travellers could experience the authentic beauty of Sri Lanka in an atmosphere of warmth and refined simplicity.
Nestled in the quiet village of Kathaluwa, just minutes from the famed surf breaks of Ahangama and the historic charm of Galle Fort, our property sits on two acres of lush tropical gardens. The original structure has been lovingly restored, preserving its colonial-era character while introducing modern comforts that discerning travellers expect.
Every detail has been considered — from the handcrafted furniture made by local artisans to the colourful gardens and the sounds of nature. We believe that true luxury lies not in excess, but in thoughtfulness.
